Yoga-Go alternative
Better Yoga vs Yoga-Go
Yoga-Go is broad and cheap-looking on the annual plan. Better Yoga is narrow and reactive. The comparison is mostly about breadth against depth of adaptation — and about reading the price carefully.
What Yoga-Go is good at
Yoga-Go — often written Yoga Go — covers more ground than its name suggests: classic yoga, Pilates, tai chi, chair yoga, wall Pilates and somatic movement all sit inside one subscription. For low-impact movement in particular it is one of the more varied options available, and the chair yoga and tai chi content genuinely exists rather than being a category label with three videos behind it.
Sessions are short and approachable, the app is easy to start with, and the Play Store rating sits around 4.5. If you want to try several low-impact disciplines without subscribing to several apps, it does that job.
The pricing needs care. Headline plans run roughly $19.99 monthly, $34.99 quarterly and $52.99 annually, but most new users are shown a discounted first week or month that renews at a much higher rate. Read the renewal terms, not the number on the button.
The actual difference
Yoga-Go's bet is breadth — several disciplines, one subscription, pick what you fancy. Better Yoga's bet is that picking is the problem.
Here there is no discipline to choose. You answer four questions about your state and get one session, which may be Pilates-led core work, yoga-led mobility, stretching or a breath-led wind-down depending on what your answers justify. The blend is an output of the check-in rather than a menu.
Be clear about the trade: Yoga-Go has things this app does not. There is no tai chi here, no chair yoga, no somatic track and no seniors-specific programming. If any of those is the reason you are looking, Yoga-Go covers them and Better Yoga does not.
Where this app is ahead is what happens on a bad day. A plan that softens on its own when you slept badly, a rest day printed on the week, and a streak that does not punish a miss are things a discipline menu cannot do for you.

Which one you should pick
Choose Yoga-Go if
- You want tai chi, chair yoga or somatic movement
- Trying several low-impact disciplines appeals to you
- You are shopping mainly on annual price
- You want to browse and pick what you fancy today
- Seniors-focused low-impact content is what you need
Choose Better Yoga if
- You want the session chosen for you from how you feel
- You want a week with rest built into it
- You want one clear price rather than eleven tiers
- Yoga and Pilates together is the whole of what you want
- You want the plan to soften on bad days without asking
These are not competing religions. Plenty of people keep a big library for the days they want to browse and a daily plan for the days they do not.

Questions people ask
Is Better Yoga a good Yoga-Go alternative?
If you want a daily plan that reacts to your state and a price you can read, yes. If you specifically want tai chi, chair yoga or somatic work, Yoga-Go has them and Better Yoga does not.
Does Better Yoga have chair yoga?
No. There is no chair yoga programme and no seniors-specific track. Yoga-Go and BetterMe both cover that ground.
Does Better Yoga have wall Pilates?
Yes — wall Pilates appears as sessions inside a normal week, in a softer and a stronger version, rather than as a standalone programme.
Why does the price change so much?
Yoga-Go runs many tiers and heavy introductory discounting that varies by region and device. Always check what the subscription renews at rather than what the first period costs.
